Rolled Gold
Rolled gold is like a sandwich where sheet gold is fused by heat and pressure to abase layer such as brass. This laminate is then rolled out and subsequently used to make jewellery.
The gold layer is considerably thicker by 50 to 100,000 times than gold plating, which is a deposit of a thin film of gold onto a piece of jewellery after it is made.
Sterling Silver
Sterling silver is an alloy containing 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metal, usually copper. The addition of copper to the silver gives it strength and workability. The stamp “925” on silver items is a guarantee of their quality.
My Makers Mark
This is the stamp with which I complete each piece of jewellery. It identifies my work as being handcrafted by me and is your guarantee of its authenticity. The design I created for the stamp is my monogram, as interlocking hearts, to reflect the theme of “Heart to Hand”®
