Special orders
If you have seen a necklace which you desire, but prefer it in a silver instead of the gold version (or vice versa), or perhaps you would like the piece made to a different length; again, dependent upon the availability of stones and the integrity of the piece, this can be made for you. If a piece needs to be lenghtened, then the cost may vary due to the additional stones and jewellery components that would be required to complete the piece.
Dependent upon the availability of stones, I can make earrings and bracelets to complement my necklaces. Earrings can be stud or hook in style.
Fittings and Findings
"In the main, I use sterling silver and rolled gold T-bar toggle clasps, because there are no hidden parts to deteriorate (as there are in bolt rings).
Alternatively sterling silver magnetic clasps (nice and strong) are wonderful for stiff fingers or just for ease of use. I prefer to craft the gimp (binding) that attach to the clasps, not only for their look but also for increased strength.
Each time I travel, I seek out interesting stones, and jewellery components; it gives a focus to my adventures and leads me into unexpected places.
